WebFact

WebFact is the consolidation, budgeting and analysis tool for organizations that need timely financial and managerial reporting. Your entire organization can run the same budget, planning and forecasting models as well as financial and accounting applications. WebFact uses component technology based on Microsoft’s Visual Basic to give headquarters and local sites access to your data through the corporate Intranet or Internet.

Reporting Structures

The following chapter introduces the Reporting Structures. Coming up for discussion are the different types of Data Sheets, the building of the Accounts, the setup of Calendars and the definition of the various entities and the interrelations between them in the different Hierarchies.

Reporting Applications

This chapter gives examples of Reporting Applications of Financial and Management Accounting. Discussed is the practise of different Consolidation methods, the use of Intercompany, the use of Adjustments and an example of Cost Allocation. Furthermore some standard available functions for financial and statistical Analyses are discussed.

Reporting Communication

The last chapter shows examples of Reporting Communication. Here items like the Interface with Excel and General Ledger Systems are discussed. The chapter ends with focus on notes, logging and security.
